Hiroshi Yamamoto
Representative Director
Chief Executive Officer
Since joining Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. in 1993, Mr. Yamamoto have been involved in assignments, including sales management in the building leasing business, service apartment operations, rental apartment development, operations of facilities and communities for domestic and overseas startups and for new business development teams of large corporates, collaborative projects with academia. He started his current position in April 2024.

Eiko ShimadaDirector
After starting her career in the real estate division at Hanshin Electric Railway Co. in 1997, Ms. Shimada joined MITSUBISHI ESTATE in 2008. Initially tasked with tenant leasing in commercial facilities, she transitioned in 2014 to manage innovation hubs such as EGG, Global Business Hub Tokyo, FINOLAB, and Inspired.Lab, focusing on customer success, facility operations, and tenant acquisition. Following this, she took on roles in the HR Dept, leading recruitment, training, and DE&I. Since 2024, she has served as GM of the Innovative Communities Dept, where she is responsible for supervising innovation hubs, new business creation communities, and a social club in the Marunouchi area.

Makoto Shibata

Chief Community OfficerMr. Shibata is currently in charge of FINOLAB community operation. In his former position at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, he was leading R&D initiatives in emerging technology and online/mobile financial service. He also held positions in corporate planning, accounting, corporate finance and retail customer services at the bank. He is one of the founders of FINOVATORS and Executive Fellow at Japan Digital Design. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from University of Tokyo and a Master of Science in Development Economics from University of Oxford.

Junji Hara
Director
Chief Administration OfficerMr. Hara joined Mitsubishi Estate in 1992, initially in Architectural Design & Engineering Business Department. Since 1997, he was engaged in product and sales planning of housing at Osaka and Yokohama Branch. From 2004, he moved to Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei, in charge of mainly HR in General Affairs Division. He returned to Airport Business Department of Mitsubishi Estate in 2018, to manage relationship and business support for airports, which the company was operating. Joining FINOLAB in 2020, he became fully responsible for back office operation.

Takeshi Ohara

Chief Investment OfficerSince joining ISI-Dentsu, now called Dentsu Soken, in 1992, Mr. Ohara has been primarily involved in the development of market and risk management systems for financial institutions. In 2016, he participated in the launch of FINOLAB as the Head of Financial Business Development of ISI-Dentsu, concurrently engaging in investment activities for Fintech startup companies. Following FINOLAB's incorporation in 2019, he served as a director of the company. Starting in 2024, he has assumed the role of Head of FINOLAB Fund.

Kakuta Inoue
Chief Operating Officer
Joined an IT company in 1999, Mr. Inoue began his career working as a systems engineer (SE) on financial system development, new business development, and supporting the Japanese expansion of overseas startups. In 2016, he joined Information Services International-Dentsu, Ltd. (Now DENTSU SOKEN), where he was a part of the team during the opening of FINOLAB, managing the community space and business development. After the establishment of FINOLAB as a corporation in 2019, he continued supporting corporate business development and startup assistance. He has been in his current position since 2025.

Kazuya Komon
Chief Growth Officer
Investment PartnerMr. Komon began his career developing web applications at a startup during university, when the internet was just emerging. After joining Information Services International-Dentsu, Ltd. (Now DENTSU SOKEN), he led R&D for advanced software development framework and applied it to clients, while conducting research on emerging fintech and hosted FIBC (the predecessor of FINOPITCH). He later moved to San Francisco, where he served as VP of its U.S. subsidiary, driving startup investments and open innovation. He then co-founded DENTSU INNOVATION STUDIO, serving as COO. In 2025, he returned to Japan, joined FINOLAB, and started his current role. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.
